Medical Tourism and where to visit

Author: Suresh Dabral

The success rates in India's top hospitals for heart surgery are an average of 98.50% - which is at par with the leading cardiac centres of the world. Heart Surgeons in India have seen the recent trend of ever increasing 'medical tourism', and so have furthered their efforts in providing for it.

Medical tourism is travelling to a country (usually overseas) by international patients looking to get certain procedures taken care of cheaper, and faster. Patients travel to Singapore, Thailand, India, and other Asian countries in search of more affordable medical services, for other forms of healthcare, and to avoid lengthy waitlists that they are put on for certain procedures.

Cardiology hospitals in India, and Heart Surgeons here have already witness an annual growth of about 30%. While these countries with their highly developed medical facilities and medical tourism options have been drawing overseas healthcare traffic, India is and looks set to, expand at a faster rate.

Neurosciences Institutes and Cardiology Institutes in India offer their patients world class treatments at world class facilities at about a third of the price. Hospitals in India offer world-class healthcare facilities and are comparable to hospitals anywhere in the world.

Cold Sore Free Forever

India's medical schools produce a large number of skilled professionals every year. There are more than 35,000 specialist doctors of Indian origin in the USA alone, and the UK has a large number of Indian medical staff as well. Private Indian hospitals are now at the same technological level as hospitals in Europe and America. More Indian doctors than ever who are practicing abroad are now returning home to cater for the ever increasing demand.

The prime factor that ensures Heart Surgeons in India will continue to see this exponential rise in business is the fact that the procedures are so much less expensive and yet cover ever area they are supposed to, from cosmetic surgery and major operations, to even preventative screening.

Where do cold sores come from?
how does someone get a cold sore?

    • Natural_Wellbeing says:

Cold/canker sores are a viral disease caused by the type 1 strain of herpes simplex virus (HSV-1). The virus presents itself as painful blisters containing infectious virus particles. The first outbreak is usually the worst and can last for weeks. Then the virus will go into remission. Subsequent outbreaks tend to be milder in nature and as years pass, they can become less frequent.

You can prevent outbreaks by taking a daily dose of Trilex which is a natural, herbal treatment. It quickly eliminates cold sores and prevents further outbreaks by working immediately. It is taken orally and so attacks the virus from within. It eradicates the virus quickly, thereby preventing the bloom.

Where do cold sores come from, and how can I prevent them?

It’s a viral infection. Don’t share lip balms with people. You can get it from kissing people. When your immune system is low you can get them or when you under alot of stress. I get them when i’m stressed out. When you do put creams on it put it with your finger and don’t take your finger back into the cream. Use a different finger. Keep your lips moisturised.

All about cold sores, where do they come from and what causes them.?
I have a cold sore that covers half of my upper lip and is very painful to touch. What causes this and what can I do to prevent it from happening again.
In referance to some of the answers; I am a 52 year old married for 30 years and never experienced this before nor has my wife ever had it.. Some people tell me stress can be the cause.

Cold sores come from the herpes simplex virus. Chances are you were kissed by a parent or grand parent who had the virus and they passed it on to you. There is no way to prevent it from happening again..Sorry!!

where do cold sores come from and how do you get rid of them?

    • David L says:

They come from a virus – herpes simplex (HSV). There are antivirals (such as Abriva) that shorten the amount of time it takes to recover from a cold sore, but there’s no cure.

Where do cold sores on the nose come from?
Is it stress??? & if your not sexually active, i know it’s not herpes so what is it?

    • darthmel13 says:

Lots of things can cause cold sores on or in the nose. I get them. My dad and my brother and I all get them. We don’t get them on our mouths, just the nose.
I find that I’m more prone to getting them when I am stressed out, sick, menstruating, or if I’ve had a trauma to the nose (like kneeing myself in the face…I’m clumsy! LOL). They will take 7-10 days to clear up. The best stuff I’ve found for them is tea tree oil…it shortens the recovery time – it smells like varnish, but is well worth it. Moist compresses and hot showers help…keep them from getting too dry, and DON’T pick them, no matter how itchy they get. I’ve also found that if you put make-up on them, it only makes them look worse.

      Hope I helped!
