What is the Nature of Vaginal Sores and There Symptoms

Just like any other yeast infection, vaginal sores can be as painful and uncomfortable as well. It is not easy to tell what could have caused these vaginal sores unless one entrust this to the careful scrutiny of a qualified gynecologist. Those who haven't been spared by the worst invasion of these vaginal sore think that sometimes having violent sex can contribute to sores in the region of the labia, but it could also be a yeast infection or more gravely a sexually transmitted disease, possibly the genital herpes. This disease affects at least two out of ten people and can stand untreated for a long period since the sores can approach and disappear making it unproblematic to neglect.

For the reason that this disease can go for years without being treated, a person can get it from preceding cronies without being aware of it making it undemanding and understandable to blame the person you are currently with. The finest thing to do is to get tested specifically for this disease by a qualified doctor. If you have already been tested for sexually transmitted diseases a moment ago and discern that you do not have any to them, then maybe the sores could be as a result of yeast infection or just sores from forceful sex. Certainly consult your doctor as soon as possible however.

Other vaginal sores symptom cause could be herpes. Most herpes laceration is jagged and quite excruciating, particularly during urination, so you would notice it.The virus can recline inactive and without showing any symptoms for as long as 15 years. Herpes is curable with acyclovir, which you take when you get an outbreak. If the sores aren't hurting, you could be dealing with cysts, which are usually non damaging.

Vaginal sores symptoms could be the blocked glands, described as red bumps which develop into puss-filled sores, which are incredibly painful until they burst.

Vaginal sores could make you move from one doctor to the next and neither of them tells why they occur to you, so you still get them every now and then mostly when you are getting ready to start your period. To you the vaginal sores might still be a mystery.

It seems with the use of feminine deodorants you are likely to suffer vaginal sores as the immediate reaction, they could also be as a result from "frictiona€ between the thighs as one walks .When you experience vaginal sores probably located on your labia, so swollen and filled with pus that you can't sit comfortably, Please take a visit to the doctor who will put in a catheter and drain it. But if the sores come back again a year later, this time ask him for more test to be done and you might as well find out that it could be something called a Bartholin Cyst, which, with only a minor out patient surgery is done to remove the root of it.

Although Vaginal sores causes may be difficult to tell, neosporin helps out tremendously when used like a pain killer cream and clears the problem up within a few days. Also if you get soaked in the tub half filled with warm water and two teaspoons of Tee-Tree oil, twice a day for as long it takes the vaginal sore might clear up on its own.

Should I put Abreva or Neosporin on my cold sore?
Ive been using Abreva on my cold sore. Its close to being “healed” – its no longer raised, ect. However, it is reall dry now! I brushed my teeth & it caused it to bleed. Should I continue with the Abreva, or should I switch to something else….like Neosporin.

    • Snark says:

The instructions are to use Abreva five times a day until the sore is healed.

You can alternate between Abreva and a lip balm or vaseline (I see no good reason to use Neosporin).

Just make sure you don’t “double dip” in the vaseline (touch your sore, then touch the vaseline inside the jar).

When the sore is completely gone, throw the lip balm away (and the vaseline if you did accidentally contaminate it).

You can also moisturize your lips well just before bed and use Abreva only during the day.

In the FAQs for Abreva, it says you can also use cosmetics over Abreva. So, if you want, you can use a non-medicated lip balm or vaseline over the Abreva. I wouldn’t use anything medicated over it.

Edit – The difference between Neosporin and Vaseline as far as healing goes is that Neosporin has antibiotics in it. Antibiotics are drugs. You should not use a medicated ointment in conjunction with another drug – Abreva – because there could be interactions.

The antibiotic, furthermore, is completely unnecessary. The cold sore is caused by a virus, and will not be affected by an antibiotic. Not only that, but there’s very little risk of bacterial infection in a sore that is close to being healed.

The important thing, if you want something dry to heal, is to keep it moisturized. Vaseline will do that just as well as Neosporin, and for a fraction of the cost.

Does neosporin help clear up a cold sore?
i was just wondering….its like this bigg zit on the corner of my mouth. the first day i saw a little red bump and it hurt, and by the end of the day it had the weird white-yellow mountain on it.

    • Alexandra M says:

The white mountain means its a zit, and its ready to pop. squeeze it till the gunk comes out. i would be carful though, u can scare if u mess with it for 2 long

Redness after cold sore: Will Neosporin help or hurt?
The scabs from my huge cold sore just fell off but it’s very red around my mouth, how do I make it go away?

  4. HmMm. says:

What do you do after a cold sore scabs up can you put some neosporin on it? Or leave it be? ?
I have this big scab over it and when I shower it tends to peal off. I’ve used so many home remedies to get rid of it and most have helped with the healing process.
I lost my abreva and don’t want to spend $15 more on a new one if this one is almost gone!

Remember that the virus that causes those sores like injured tissue so each time you tug at the scab, it can cause the sore to last longer. Also keep in mind that the virus can get on your fingers and invade other areas of susceptible tissue such as your eyes, your nose, pimples, scratches, etc. Wash your hands well after touching them. At this point keeping the scab soft is important, it is past the stage where medicine will actually affect the lesion. Use neosporin (unless you are allergic to sulfa drugs) then use Bacitracin instead, or anything that will keep it soft.

If you get these frequently, talk to your dentist about a prescription pill that you can take the moment you feel a cold sore starting, you take it for 3 days and the sore barely becomes visible (if at all) and goes away right away… no scab, no mess. The RX is called Valtrex (yes it is the same medicine used for genital herpes but is used slightly differently). It works much differently and much more effectively than Abreva. Good luck!

Cold sore Help. Do I keep it dried up or put some neosporin on it?
I put alcohol on it until it dried so much the skin came off. It is going to scab over, do I keep it dry with alcohol or put neosporin on it?
Which would make the scab not as bad?
