A sore throat is one of the most common of medical complaints. It is an inflammation or infection of the pharynx accompanied with discomfort, pain, or scratchiness in the throat. A sore throat is contagious in most cases and can be spread through coughing and sneezing. There are many ways to get rid of a sore throat.

With a bit of emotional difficulty sickness can creep up on you.You might not notice it because you are fighting or,quietly keeping the peace. The self is not just the mind.It is also the body, it is the spirit and all work together.Sometimes you might want to agree that it is all worth it to feel totally at peace to see why you are in the position you are in.Internally fighting or even making a fuss might both be counteractive. But sometimes you can get a few tips from writers like Sam Horn as to how to deal with out and out bullies.

Most cases of sore throat may be treated at home through such measures as resting, increasing your fluid intake, humidifying the air, and resting your voice. But there are two instances when a sore throat should definitely be seen by a doctor. For persons with HIV open to dangerous infections of the mouth and throat, a sore throat could be a telltale symptom. A sore throat might also be, especially in smokers and alcohol abusers, a symptom of a throat tumor.

First of all, increase your liquid intake as it helps to hydrate dry mucous membranes and keeps your throat coated with moisture. Mild, warm and soothing drinks like ginger n honey tea, holly basil n clove tea, decaffeinated coffee, and warm water with lemon and honey are some of the best natural health remedies for sore throats

Cayenne pepper, another common item in the kitchen can also be used as an herbal remedy for sore throat. Boil water and add cayenne pepper. The ratio of this is 1 cup of water is to ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Mix the ingredients and stir well. Unlike ginger, you will not drink this concoction but gargle it. For it to be effective, it should be gargled while it is still warm.

Apple cider vinegar. This is a popular folk remedy, and doctors suggest it has some basis in fact: the acidity of the vinegar should kill sore-throat-causing bacteria on contact. To use this remedy, mix a teaspoon to two tablespoons (as strong as you can take) of vinegar in with water. Gargle and then swallow two times every hour. Remember to rise your mouth with water after gargling to prevent the acidity in the vinegar from damaging your tooth enamel.

To cleanse the throat and ease the pain, gargle with a quarter of a teaspoon of salt in one quarter cup of warm water. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to help numb the nerves of the throat. Gargle every hour or as needed.

I am one of the unlucky ones that gets a fever blister on my upper lip area every now and then. The last time I had a fever blister I picked up a bottle of Cortisone and put it on. I kept reapplying throughout the day. I kid you not the fever blister never got very big and cleared within 4-5 days. I currently felt one coming on Wed so I picked up Cortisone 10 and it’s Friday (3days) it’s just about gone. It never got big and scabbed and disgusting. I love this stuff and I hope this works for others like it works for me!!
Cortisone is an anti itch cream used for eczema, rashes, bites, poison oak, etc. You can get it at any pharmacy. It comes in cream, gel, or ointment. I used cream before and now using gel so it doesnt matter what consistency as long as it’s Cortisone.
If I had to guess at how many times I apply it I would say at least 7 times. Just a small dab will do to cover the area. Any time it tingles I put some on. I would defanitly use it more than twice a day if you want results.

You have, probably, herpes simplex, which is caused by a virus. I’m guessing this did not occur because of oral sex, because if it did, you have something far more serious.

There are prescriptions out there that will speed up the healing, but not that fast, sorry. Keep it dry, and if you cannot afford the prescriptions, put triple antibiotic cream on it 3 times/day.

Good luck. I was plagued by them from childhood through my 30′s and I had as many as 3 at a time, so I know how gross they look. I was so embarrassed when people stared at them. But, at 57, the virus is gone and no more ‘fever blisters’.
